This is Sweet apple acres,
All fresh and green from the pony labors -
A sea of trees for the birds to nest in,
And patches of shade for wild creatures to rest in;
With apple trees for ponies to browse on,
And grass for the herdsponies to pasture their cows on.

But one year the pegasi were so very lazy,
That all the apple farmers thought they might go crazy.
Then AJ helped to end that terrible drought
And this story tells how it all came about!

This is the cloud, all heavy with rain,
From the lazy Pegasi who were such a pain.

This is the grass, all brown and dead,
That needed the rain from the cloud overhead -
The big, black cloud, all heavy with rain,
From the lazy Pegasi who were such a pain

These are the apples, all shriveled and dry,
That yearned for the rain to fall from the sky;
To green up the grass, all brown and dead,
That needed the rain from the cloud overhead –
The big, black cloud, all heavy with rain,
From the lazy pegasi who were such a pain.

This is AJ, who watched her field
With bucks so strong they produced an impressive yield;
AJ whose apples were so shriveled and dry,
That yearned for the rain to fall from the sky;
To green up the grass, all brown and dead,
That needed the rain from the cloud overhead –
The big, black cloud, all heavy with rain,
From the lazy pegasi who were such a pain.

This is Derpy, who dropped a rock,
A rock that would make a nice alarm clock.
It fell near AJ, who watched her field
With bucks that produced an impressive yield;
AJ whose apples were so shriveled and dry,
That yearned for the rain to fall from the sky;
To green up the grass, all brown and dead,
That needed the rain from the cloud overhead –
The big, black cloud, all heavy with rain,
From the lazy pegasi who were such a pain.

This is the sling, that AJ had en bloc
made from a neckerchief, and a Derpy rock
From Derpy who happened to drop a rock
A rock that would make a nice alarm clock
It fell near AJ, who watched her field
With bucks that produced an impressive yield;
AJ whose apples were so shriveled and dry,
That yearned for the rain to fall from the sky;
To green up the grass, all brown and dead,
That needed the rain from the cloud overhead –
The big, black cloud, all heavy with rain,
From the lazy pegasi who were such a pain.

This is the throw, so accurate and true
Thrown with the strength of more ponies then two
Thrown with the sling, that AJ had en bloc
made from a neckerchief, and a Derpy rock
From Derpy who happened to drop a rock
A rock that would make a nice alarm clock
It fell near AJ, who watched her field
With bucks that produced an impressive yield;
AJ whose apples were so shriveled and dry,
That yearned for the rain to fall from the sky;
To green up the grass, all brown and dead,
That needed the rain from the cloud overhead –
The big, black cloud, all heavy with rain,
From the lazy pegasi who were such a pain.

This Rainbow Dash, asleep on her cloud
Who let out a yell, as a rock struck her brow
A rock that was thrown so accurate and true
Thrown with the strength of more ponies then two
Thrown with the sling, that AJ had en bloc
made from a neckerchief, and a Derpy rock
From Derpy who happened to drop a rock
A rock that would make a nice alarm clock
It fell near AJ, who watched her field
With bucks that produced an impressive yield;
AJ whose apples were so shriveled and dry,
That yearned for the rain to fall from the sky;
To green up the grass, all brown and dead,
That needed the rain from the cloud overhead –
The big, black cloud, all heavy with rain,
From the lazy pegasi who were such a pain.

As the rain fell around, letting the apples grow fat,
RD went to AJ and said "Ok, What the heck was that?!"
AJ replied, "I told y'all about over sleepin' but you continue to baulk.
Next time it happens I might sent y'all a bigger rock."
Done out of boredom for a post on Eqd.

A Parody of "Bringing the Rain to Kapiti Plain". Should be read in James Earl Jones' voice.
